EdgeZip RFID Pouch
Your everyday EdgeZip, with an added layer of privacy.
The EdgeZip RFID Pouch takes our lightweight nylon EdgeZip design and replaces the standard inner liner with a conductive Faraday fabric designed to help reduce RFID signals. It's a simple way to add another layer of protection for credit cards, IDs, passports and other RFID-enabled items while keeping them organized at home, on the road or on the trail.
The outer shell is made from Hexon nylon, keeping the pouch lightweight, durable and unmistakably HMO. Inside, the conductive liner is made from a polyester fabric incorporating copper and nickel, creating a barrier intended to interfere with radio-frequency signals such as those used by contactless RFID cards.
Our signature EdgeZip design wraps the zipper around the edge of the pouch, creating a wide opening and giving you an easy top-down view of everything inside. At approximately 6.25 x 8.25 inches, there's room for more than just a couple of cards. Use it for a wallet, passport and travel documents, spare cards, keys, or other small essentials you want to keep together.
To make the RFID version easy to identify at a glance, EdgeZip RFID Pouches use an orange grosgrain loop instead of the black loop found on our standard EdgeZip Pouches. So even when you've got a couple of them packed together, you know which one has the conductive liner.
Like all of our EdgeZip pouches, each one is sewn in our Pennsylvania shop.

A Note About RFID Protection
The conductive liner is intended to reduce RFID and similar radio-frequency signals when items are enclosed within the pouch. Actual shielding performance can vary based on frequency, device, placement and how the pouch is closed. This product should not be considered a guarantee against unauthorized access, data theft, or all wireless signals.
