Style Options
→ Hexon Options: Coyote, Dark Olive and Woodland Camo are currently available in Hexon 1.6 Nylon from Dutchware Gear. Hexon 1.6 has a weight rating of 350lbs and carries a $10 upcharge when chosen as the body fabric.
→ Mesh End Caps: You can now choose the option of "Mesh" for your end caps. By default this will make your stuff sacks the same color as the body of the hammock. If you would like different color stuff sacks leave a note in the comments section at checkout.
→ MultiMode bug net with 4 double pull zippers, allows for easy access to either side outside of hammock when fully zipped, storage of bug net on ridgeline in DualZip mode or fully retract bug net and stow in the end cap in full ZipAround. This new option replaces the DualZip and ZipAround options by combining both.

About those end caps & stuff sacks
Choose your body color and end cap colors and the stuff sack will match the end caps. Mix or match, make it the way you want.
Fabrics
The RedTail is now made with either 70D ripstop nylon, 1.8oz DymondLite nylon or Hexon 1.6 nylon (depending on color) and these fabrics are in stock. This means there is no wait time for the material, making the lead time a lot less.

Is that price for real?
Yes! I purchased rolls and rolls of fabric for the new RedTail at a great price, this is how I can knock the price down so low and have the materials in stock... but(there's always a but, right?) the original 70D nylon is starting to run out. So, I've gone straight to the manufacture to get a replacement fabric for the RedTail Hammock that will allow me to keep the prices down. DymondLite nylon is our own budget friendly fabric. This 70D nylon made with a diamond grid rip stop weave and weighing in at just 1.8oz per square yard is soft yet strong and has just a little bit of stretch for extra comfort.
As the stock of the 70D nylon runs out it will be replaced with DymondLite. I'll be introducing new colors as old ones run out as well. If you have a favorite, let me know!
